THREE REPORTS LAID ON TABLE

Three reports were yesterday afternoon laid on the table before the House adjourned. 

The Deputy Minister of the EAC, United Republic of Tanzania, Hon Dr. Abdullah Saadalla laid the Report of the Audit Commission on the Financial Statements of the EAC for the Year ended 30th June 2013 on behalf of the Council of Ministers. 

The Report of the Committee on Communication, Trade and Investments (CTI) on the on-spot assessment on the EAC Single Customs Territory and that of the Agriculture, Tourism and Natural Resources Committee (ATNR) on water catchment were also laid. Chairperson, Hon Angela Kizigha of CTI and Hon Judith Pareno on behalf of Hon Isabelle Ndahayo laid the papers respectively.

Debate on the CTI and the ATNR reports were then adjourned and deferred respectively. 

The House is expected to resume on Tuesday next week (28th October, 2014).
